You Don’t Have to Be Way Ambitious and Aggressive to Make More Money: 5 Ways I Made It Happen

As hard as it is for us to swallow, the phrase “fortune favors the brave” is a pretty well-supported maxim.

Literally, people who drive a hard bargain, negotiate their salaries, and walk away from deals that undervalue them tend to make more money, and keep the money they have.

That being said, I’m none of those things: my blog is literally about how afraid I am, and how I have to conquer fears all the time to get to my money goals.

As a startup founder, a self-employed person, or any of the other fields where you determine your own salary, you have probably faced moments when more assertiveness would get you more money!

If you, like me, feel shame and disappointment that you aren’t always willing to push forward and get what you deserve, money-wise, you’re in good company.

I believe it’s possible to make more money without having to fundamentally change your personality. You can keep your goals or ethics or whatever makes you not want to push hard to get what you deserve.
